1st DAY:
Arrival in
Lima at any time of the day.

Flight to Puno
City tour (Optional). Hotel Puno
3rd, 4th Day: Lake Titicaca tour Taquile, Amantani and
Uros
Island
Lake Titicaca is the highest elevated navigable lake in the world. We will visit
Uros
Islands, home of the oldest civilization of the region. These islands, made out of totora, a combination of reed and mud, float on the lake. We continue to
Taquile
Island that preserves remarkable customs in dress. Later we will return to Puno after two amazing days on the blue waters of
Lake Titicaca.
4th day (Hotel Puno)
5th DAY:
A six hours bus ride to
Cusco including beautiful scenery of the flat land from the altiplano, down to the Cusco Andes were we can see the changes in the different climate zones through out the trip. In the afternoon we will have a
Cusco city Tour. River rafting is available on the
Urubamba
River. (Hotel Cusco)
6th DAY: Sacred Valley Tour
A visit Pisaq and Ollantaytambo, which are both important archaeological sites and a great insight into the cultural history of the Incas.

7th, 8th, 9th, 10th DAY: Inca Trail to Machupicchu or the alternative
Salcantay Trek
The Inca Trail, which is part of the Machupicchu Historical Sanctuary, has been designated as a World Heritage Natural and Cultural site. It is one of the most famous hikes in
South America.
10th day we will be back in (Cusco Hotel)
11th DAY:
Day off. There is optional horse back riding, biking, and paragliding.

12th, 13th, 14th DAY: Jungle Trip
We will spend two days in one of the most spectacular reserves of the Amazonian Rainforests, the Tambopata Reserve. The first day we will have a nice trip by boat to the lodge and the second day we will have the tour around the reserve.
14th day we go back to Puerto Maldonado.

15th Day:
Flight back home
*All the services in this trip including food, buses and hotels are good, safe and clean. The hotels and hostels are very nice and are always located in Cusco center.

What to bring:

We recommend bringing pills for altitude sickness, and stomaching problems, this is the most frequent trouble for travellers.

The times cited are approximate for the trekking. Walking times depend on the group and the guide can change lunch spots and campsites, depending the progress of the group.
